Planning permission has been obtained for nine new penthouses in the airspace above an existing block of flats on the Lancing beachfront, creating new incredibly high-quality apartments with unmatched dual-aspect views of the sea the South and the South Downs National Park to the North. Two of the flats will also have a triple-aspect view including views towards Brighton to the East.
The scheme, which was designed by a local award-winning architect, was devised with a great attention to detail. All new flats will have private terrace space, and the block itself has direct access onto the Lancing beach for easy access to the sea and the beach amenities. The scheme is expected to set record property values in the Lancing area.
Improvements will also be made to the existing building, including new rendering to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the building and improve insulation, new and improved landscaping, a new cycle store for all residents to use, and solar panels to improve energy efficiency.
