Red Cannon Developments achieved planning permission for 4 new penthouses on an existing residential block in Harlesden, North London, creating a new fifth and sixth floor and encompassing a host of improvements to the existing residential block, funded through the new development.
The development, which adds an additional two storeys onto a building which is already substantially taller than others in the general locality, was achieved through a detailed and thorough planning application at the first time of asking. Particularly of note is that there was no local objections during the public consultation, highlighting the quality of the proposed scheme.
As well as the 4 large apartments, each with their own private amenity space, the proposed development also includes major upgrade works to the existing building to benefit existing and new residents alike, including installing a lift in the block, modernisation of the communal areas of the building, new landscaping, a children's play area in the rear garden, new bin and cycle stores for residents, and fire safety improvements to the communal areas.
